In 2020, the AgriVoltaics conference was launched and, spreading over all five continents, it united the global PV community in the belief that agrivoltaics is perfectly suited to a sustainable energy transition. AgriVoltaics2022 is now the third edition of the AgriVoltaics Conference & Exhibition and the first one to be held on-site as well as online!
The growth of agrivoltaics is exponential and with that comes a great opportunity, but also a responsibility to develop and bring forward true agrivoltaic systems where the production of PV electricity is necessarily coupled to agricultural production. Now that sustainable solutions are urgently needed, our community must collaborate to accelerate the availability of sound agrivoltaic systems - and what better way to do so than at the AgriVoltaics2022?
Agrivoltaics2022 will take place from June 15-17, 2022 as a hybrid event in Piacenza in Italy's beautiful Emilia-Romagna region which not only has a great tradition of energy production but is also home to two of the largest and longest-standing agrivoltaic plants in Europe!
